Only seven years ago I entered the beauty industry as a Licensed Cosmetologist in 2014 with the dream of opening my own salon, but not having a clue as so how to operate the salon business. Along the way, I bumped my head a few times against outdated marketing practices, seeking guidance from veteran beauty professionals with an unwillingness to show me the way, and scammers taking advantage of my desire to succeed. I have been using technology in my personal life for over 20 years and I take full advantage of the internet in my business. Now granted, I have an extensive technology background due to my experience as a Computer Systems Specialist in the Air Force. I've worked in technical support answering questions and solving problems over the phone and through video, I've worked in computer repair which was quite fun, and I've worked in a Network Training center as a Client Support Administrator educator.
